About the Event
The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2026 is recognized as the world’s largest military airshow, set to take place at RAF Fairford from July 17–19, 2026. This premier event offers an “unparalleled sensory experience” featuring massive flying displays alongside extensive static aircraft exhibits. Beyond its role as a public spectacle showcasing iconic aircraft like the Red Arrows and super-fast jets, the airshow serves as a vital venue for viewing defense aviation trends and witnessing demonstrations of alternative fuels. The event is deeply rooted in its charitable mission, supporting the RAF Charitable Trust to inspire young people in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) through interactive areas like the Techno Zone.
